About
This site is a personal project that has been in the making for several years. In 2000, when I first became addicted to the Internet, I created my first personal page in geocities. My knowledge in computers and website design was very limited. The result was a lousy page with a couple of pictures that I put together with that service built-in design tools.
During the following years I made other attempts to start a personal website, all of them were abandoned and forgotten until I became interested in the blogosphere. For almost a year now I have kept a personal blog in Spanish. I wanted to have an English version of that blog, but the project never matured. However, the idea of having a website, more than just a blog, never died.
Several months after that I came across the magazine style themes for blogs and I realized it was just what I needed to finally bring my website project to life. For the last couple of weeks I have spent many hours customizing Darren Hoyt’s magazine style theme, Mimbo 2.2, to my liking. And now it seems like it is finally ready to see the world.
This blog is a space for my interests, opinions, photographs and everything that I find interesting, funny, outrageous and even boring. I acknowledge that this is a very ambitious project and will require a lot of time and work to make it possible. However, as I said above, this is a personal project and I am willing to spend as much time as possible to make it work.
